Me after a back injury and only able to do dynamic core conditioning exercises (my core has never been stronger, but I lacked strength).

Me four months later. Once my core was healthy, I tried periodization and hiring a trainer, both for the first time. I only trained 3-4 hours a week (1 of those was with my trainer) plus cardio once a week. I gained size, lost about 4% of body fat, and broke all of my strength records (deadlift, squat, bench etc). My excellent nutrition played a significant role here.
